Challenge
The Dubai Stock Exchange needed to create a fresh dashboard using innovative and unique technical solutions, a requirement for every investor on the DSE. As a hub, investors and clients need to be able to browse recent purchases, see trends, know the top scorers, and most importantly, to serve as an all-in-one online destination to manage securities.Solution
BOD’s challenge here was to create new, exclusive solutions for investors, that would be ahead of the current method of interacting with charts, bars and data. As habits of investors should be protected, we had to bear this in mind when designing the new dashboard. We were tasked with finding a balance which would improve and optimize the website by leveraging the already available tools on the site.Carefully crafting every pixel, we managed to reduce huge amounts of data onto a compact space, using programming technologies such as CSS3 and HTML5. Furthermore, we provided the user with the option to customize the most usable panels whilst having quick access to key data, thus taking advantage of every precious second in a bid to keep them ahead of their competitors.
